Design of a contemporary pool house
- Objective: Aménagement d’une pool house et des abords d’une piscine
- Materials: Thatched roof, wooden structure
Together with their client, the interior designer and the landscape gardener wanted to add charm to the pool house by creating a thatched roof to match the house, for its natural look and insulating qualities.
The pool house was created as a continuation of the covered terrace extension. The terrace is defined by its wooden structure, which also echoes the pool house and provides shelter from neighbouring views.
The landscape designer redesigned the garden to anchor the infinity pool in its surroundings. Flower beds were planned to accommodate mature olive trees.
