Interior design of a digital workshop

Cet atelier numérique a été créé pour aider les gens à améliorer leurs compétences digitales. Il propose notamment des formations ainsi que des cours en présentiel dans des espaces ouverts au public.
Dans le cadre de ce projet d’architecture tertiaire in Biarritz, l’objectif était de parvenir à créer différents espaces flexibles et polyvalents (conférence et ateliers pratiques mais aussi espaces plus intimistes), et d’y apporter de la convivialité en donnant envie aux visiteurs de passer du temps sur place.
L’architecte a créé une scénographie visible depuis la rue, qui invite les visiteurs à entrer dans l’atelier. De plus, le projet développe un langage architectural fort et ludique : escalier jaune, mobilier chiné, mobilier sur roues, cloisons mobiles qui renforcent le caractère flexible du lieu.
Le « look & feel » de cet espace se veut chaleureux, notamment à travers l’utilisation de matériaux naturels comme le rotin, le bois blond et l’utilisation de couleurs dynamiques.

This digital workshop was created to help people improve their digital skills. It offers training courses as well as in-person classes in spaces open to the public.
As part of this office space design project, the objective was to create various flexible and versatile spaces (conference and practical workshops as well as more intimate spaces), and to bring conviviality to them by encouraging visitors to spend time on the premises.
The architect created a scenography visible from the street, which invites visitors to enter the workshop. Furthermore, the project develops a strong and playful architectural language: yellow staircase, second-hand furniture, furniture on wheels, movable partitions that reinforce the flexible nature of the place.
The “look & feel” of this space is intended to be warm, particularly through the use of natural materials such as rattan, light wood and dynamic colours.
