Haussmannian apartment interior design 250m²
Presentation of this Haussmann apartment renovation project
This apartment was entirely reimagined for greater functionality and modernity, while preserving the Haussmann style with its mouldings and authentic parquet flooring.
The brief for this renovation project was to bring style, charm and authenticity to the apartment while optimising its volumes.
Partition walls were removed and custom-made English-style square-pane glazed partitions were designed to create a connection between the spaces while adding a distinctive character.
The living area, comprising the lounge and home cinema, was fully fitted out with bespoke built-in furniture and a fireplace was created.
At the heart of the living room, a large central dining table serves as a convivial focal point.
In the study, a full-length bookcase follows the curves of the space. Designed at height, it appears to float in the air and is subtly lit from beneath to maximise a sense of lightness.
In the kitchen, a pursuit of authenticity — a retro-style gas range, azulejos tiles and custom oak cabinet fronts — brings charm and character.
